Amateur videos or promotional videos;
Films with poor production quality, including bad sound, poor editing, lack of English subtitles for non-English films, or video resolution below 1080p Full HD;
Extremist or propaganda content from religious or political organizations, as well as pornographic films.

Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules and of the jury’s decision, which is final and not subject to appeal.
Submissions are accepted exclusively through this platform.
Submission fees are non-refundable.
The organization of the Cannes 7th Art Awards – C7AA (formerly Cannes International Independent Film Festival – CIIFF) assumes no legal responsibility for the films submitted or their content.
Submitting your film does not guarantee selection or screening. Selection does not guarantee an award or prize.
All films must be presented in their original language with English subtitles.
When submitting, the festival will accept only a private link to watch the film or read the screenplay.
If the project is selected, the submitter will receive instructions to upload the final film file.
Films selected for the online competition must be sent via file hosting to cannes7thartawards@gmail.com, or by a download link in Full HD MP4 or MOV format, 24 or 25 fps, Codec H.264, Stereo 48kHz.
Films selected for screening at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès must be sent via file hosting to cannes7thartawards@gmail.com, or by a download link in 24p 2K 5.1 (surround) Apple ProRes 422 HQ format with embedded English subtitles (.mov) for DCP creation (DCP is made by our team).
We accept films in all genres except those specified in paragraph 3 of the “We do not accept” section.
Premiere status is not required.
Multiple submissions are permitted; each film requires a separate entry fee.
All films and scripts must have been completed within the two years preceding the upcoming edition of the festival.
By submitting, filmmakers grant permission to the Cannes 7th Art Awards to screen the film and to use short excerpts (a few seconds) in the festival’s official trailer or promotional materials.
Submitted films must comply with all applicable laws regarding copyright and privacy.
Participants guarantee that their works do not infringe upon any third-party rights, including intellectual property, image, privacy, or personality rights.The submitter confirms that they hold all necessary rights to publicly exhibit the film, including images, music, text, artwork, and other copyrighted elements.
The submitter authorizes the festival to use, distribute, and share the film or screenplay poster, synopsis, trailer, and stills on our social media platforms and website.
In the event of force majeure, the festival reserves the right to change event dates.
The festival reserves the right to modify programming or event details without prior notice.
All C7AA events (cocktails, gala dinners) are free for festival participants. Guests may attend subject to availability.
It is strictly forbidden to use the laurels, logos, or any reference to the Festival de Cannes, Marché du Film, or Short Film Corner in connection with your film’s or screenplay’s selection, screening, or awards received at the Cannes 7th Art Awards.
