Welcome to the Cannes 7th Art Awards, the hybrid (online & live) film festival showcasing the best and brightest in independent cinema. Our mission is to promote the art of filmmaking and provide a platform for emerging and established filmmakers to showcase their work to a worldwide audience.

Cannes 7th Art Awards is open to filmmakers of all experience levels, and we are committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in all aspects of our programming. Whether you are a seasoned professional or just starting out, we welcome you to submit your work and join us in celebrating the magic of cinema.

The Cannes 7th Art Awards were founded in 2019 with the aim of consolidating of independent film professionals from around the world and celebrating the art of cinema in Cannes. Every year we organize an independent international film festival. For three editions, we have successfully organized a live festival at the Espace Miramar in Cannes and, since 2023, we have moved to online film screenings.
Online Film festivals are one of the best routes for independent filmmakers to reach wider audiences and open up new career opportunities. The Cannes 7th Art Awards offers entrants excellent opportunity and the chance to win prizes and receive them at our booth at the Cannes Film Market (Marché du Film-Festival de Cannes) from May 14 to 22, 2024.

The selected films participating in the competition compete on categories: FEATURE FILM – SHORT FILM (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental) and MUSIC VIDEO.

We accept student films.

Any spectator can vote online for one film from the competition list. The three films that received the most votes will be awarded the Audience Prize, which they can receive at our booth at the Cannes Film Festival Film Market (Marché du Film de Festival de Cannes) from May 14 to 22, 2024.

Please note that submitting your film for consideration does not guarantee it will be selected to the festival, or that it will be screened at the festival or win a prize.
