Welcome to the Cannes 7th Art Awards, a hybrid film festival that combines online and live screenings, highlighting the best in independent cinema. Our goal is to support filmmakers and provide a platform for both emerging and experienced talent to share their work with a global audience.

In the film industry, online film festivals have become a powerful bridge for independent filmmakers, providing unparalleled access to global audiences and new career horizons.
Each year in March, we host an online festival where audiences worldwide can watch our competition program and vote for their favorite films. The two films receiving the most votes are awarded the Audience Prize.
In May, during the Cannes Film Festival, all winners can receive their awards at our booth at the Marché du Film at the Palais des Festivals. Additionally, we organize a special screening of selected short films across all genres in collaboration with the Short Film Corner department of the Cannes Film Festival.

The Cannes 7th Art Awards were founded in 2019 with the aim of consolidating of independent film professionals from around the world and celebrating the art of cinema in Cannes. Every year we organize an independent international film festival. For three editions, we have successfully organized a live festival at the Espace Miramar in Cannes and, since 2023, we have moved to online film screenings.
Online Film festivals are one of the best routes for independent filmmakers to reach wider audiences and open up new career opportunities. Since 2023, the Cannes 7th Art Awards has offered participants a wonderful opportunity to win prizes and receive them at our booth at the Marché du Film (Cannes Film Market) during the Cannes Film Festival, the world’s largest film industry event.
The selected films participating in the competition compete on categories: FEATURE FILM – SHORT FILM (fiction, animation, documentary, experimental) and MUSIC VIDEO.
We accept student films.
Screenings
